This range is a part of the Kanchenjunga National Park and sports a magnificent view of the Kanchenjunga Mountain Range. The Goechala Trek is one of the more famous trek routes in the small north-eastern state, with travelers and adventure enthusiasts from all over the country, and globally, drawn to the picturesque beauty of the mountains, orchards and lush greenery, which envelopes the valley.

Maximum Altitude: 5700 feet - Upon arrival at New Jalpaiguri railway station, our team will be on site to receive guests. From there, we will head to the Police check point at Melli for permission and registration, and Inner Line Permit for non-Indian nationals. Once this is done we head out for Yuksom, a 150 kilometer drive which takes an average of 8-10 hours, depending on traffic. Along the way, we stop at Jorthang for some delicious lunch and a few candid shots. We arrive at Yuksom by the evening, at which point, we check in for the night. Meal and overnight stay in guesthouse at Yuksom.

Maximum Altitude: 7200 feet - After an early breakfast, we head out of Yuksom and move towards Sachen. With no access to networks or shops, our real advent into nature begins. The route is scenic and lush, passing through dense forests and crossing three bridges before ending here at Sachen. We set up camp in the forest for the night. Meal and overnight stay in camps at Sachen.

Maximum Altitude: 9700 feet - The route remains gradual and pleasant, before ascending steeply towards Makhim. Along the way, we bear witness to magnificent mountain peaks, like Mount Pandim and Mount Tenzinkhay. We stop at Bakhim for rest and refreshment, before covering the last two kilometers to our camp site at Tshokha. Rhododendron and alpine berries line the area around the trail, making this an ideal spot to snap some memorable pictures. We arrive at the camp in time for lunch, after which guests are free to explore their surroundings before settling in for the night at camp. Meal and overnight stay in camps at Tshokha.

Maximum Altitude: 12980 feet - Todas climbing will take some effort as the trail is mostly ascent, passing through rocky terrain and forests. Guests will need to carry their own drinking water as there any no drinking water sources along the route. Phedang lies at the half way point of the journey, most of which is covered on paved rocky paths before giving way to a wooden path. After taking a break for lunch and rest, we continue on our journey. The path ahead remains steep and rocky, and continues till we reach Dzongri. Due to sharp gain in altitude, it is possible that some guests may feel uneasy, short of breath and may get headaches. This feeling goes away in time as you get acclimatized to the low oxygen content in the air. Guests must inform us in case your health gets worse. We are happy to provide oxygen cylinders and other medication at this point if needed. Meal and overnight stay in camps at Dzongri.

Maximum Altitude: 13675 feet - We remain here at Dzongri for the day for acclimatization and exploring. Those willing can accompany our trek guide to the Dzongri mountain top, a relatively short one hour trek. From here, magnificent views of surrounding peaks like Frey Peak, Rathong, Kanchenddzonga, Juponu and Pandim are visible. Meal and overnight stay in camps at Dzongri.
