Upon your arrival in Kathmandu (1330m), a representative will meet you at the airport, assist with immigration procedures, and transfer you to your selected accommodation in the heart of the city. Youll receive a briefing on the upcoming trek, and if time permits, explore Kathmandus iconic sites such as the Swayambhunath Stupa or the bustling Durbar Square.

Early in the morning, youll board a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla (2860m), a thrilling experience with panoramic views of the Himalayas. The trek to Phakding (2652m) takes you through picturesque Sherpa villages like Chaurikharka and Chheplung, allowing you to witness the local way of life and traditional architecture.

Embark on the trek to Namche Bazaar (3440m), gradually ascending through forests of rhododendron and pine. Cross the Hillary Suspension Bridge over the Dudh Koshi River and enjoy your first views of Everest. Arriving in Namche, explore the lively marketplace and visit the Sherpa Cultural Museum for deeper insights into the local heritage.

The trail leads to Tengboche (3860m), passing through serene landscapes with occasional encounters of yaks and Sherpa settlements. The Tengboche Monastery, with its intricate architecture and spiritual aura, provides an ideal place for reflection amidst the breathtaking mountain backdrop.

Continue your ascent to Dingboche (4410m), crossing the Imja River and enjoying stunning views of Ama Dablam. As you gain altitude, notice the transition in flora and fauna, with occasional encounters of Himalayan wildlife.

Today is dedicated to acclimatization in Dingboche. Consider a hike to Nangkartshang Peak or explore the Imja Valley. This strategic rest day aids in better acclimatization, ensuring a smoother progression in the coming days.

Resume the trek to Dughla/Thukla (4620m), passing through the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. The memorial chortens dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest provide a poignant reminder of the challenges ahead.

Trek to Lobuche (4940m), gradually ascending towards the glacial moraines. The day offers stunning views of Nuptse, Pumori, and other Himalayan giants, creating an awe-inspiring backdrop for your journey.

Reach Gorakshep (5164m) and continue to Everest Base Camp (5364m). Explore the base camp, marvelling at the iconic Khumbu Icefall and surrounding peaks. Retire to Gorakshep for a well-earned rest, surrounded by the tranquillity of the high-altitude wilderness.

Early morning, ascend Kala Pathar (5644m) for a panoramic sunrise view of Everest and neighbouring peaks. Descend to Pheriche (4371m), allowing your body to acclimatize to lower altitudes while relishing the memories of the summit.

Descend to Namche Bazaar, retracing your steps through familiar landscapes. Immerse yourself in the vibrant Sherpa culture and enjoy the warm hospitality of the local teahouses.

Continue the descent from Namche Bazaar to Lukla, passing through charming villages like Monjo and Phakding. Reflect on the journey, savouring the final moments of the trek.

Fly back from Lukla to Kathmandu, providing a final opportunity to appreciate the Himalayan vistas from above. Spend the afternoon exploring Kathmandu, perhaps visiting the Patan Durbar Square or shopping for souvenirs in Thamel.
