The elegant Deo Tibba 6001 m, situated southeast of Manali town and above Jagatsukh village on the Pir Panjal range of Himalaya. A comfortable trek, the route is full of panoramic views along thick forest and alpine plateau to the Piang Neru, at the base of Deo Tibba (West Face). Piang Neru Nala or Jobri Nallah is a principal tributary of the Hampta Nallah. From Jagatsukh we follow one of the best alpine walks with an untiring gradient to Sarotu Thach (Thach – meadow) and Raudi Khodi. Crossing a wonderful alpine plateau a breath-taking view of Deo Tibba appears with magical suddenness. Piang Neru at about 12000 feet where the lateral moraines of Piang Neru glacier come to an end. Finally, an easy descent to Chikka at Hampta Nallah and along the rock wall to Chichoga heights to Chadiyari village.


Upon arriving in Manali, guests will be transferred to their hotel for check-in. After settling in, there will be an afternoon briefing conducted by the trek leader. This session will cover essential information about the trek, safety guidelines, and any last-minute adjustments. Trekking permits and necessary documentation will be distributed, followed by a group introduction and ice-breaking session. A thorough equipment check will ensure that everyone has the required gear. The rest of the afternoon is free for participants to explore Manali, visit local markets, or simply relax. The day concludes with a group dinner at a local restaurant.

The day starts with an early morning wake-up call and breakfast. Participants will then depart for Banara village via a private vehicle. The trek to Tilgan (2600m) begins, and packed lunches are provided en route. The journey involves stops for snacks and opportunities to appreciate the scenic surroundings. Upon reaching Tilgan, the group will set up camp and gather for an evening tea briefing. Dinner will be served, followed by a session of star-gazing.

The morning begins with a yoga or stretching session, followed by breakfast. After breaking camp, the trek to Sarotu commences, taking participants through dense forests and meadows. A lunch break with stunning mountain views adds to the experience. The trek continues, with the group reaching Sarotu by late afternoon. Camp is set up, and a group discussion on local flora and fauna enriches the evening. Dinner is served, accompanied by a cultural exchange session.

Day four starts with a hot breakfast and breaking camp. The trek to Piyang Niru begins, featuring picturesque landscapes, stream crossings, and alpine meadows. A lunch break at a scenic spot precedes the ascent through rocky terrain. Upon reaching Piyang Niru, a camp is set up, and the evening is dedicated to photography and campfire tales.

The day kicks off with breakfast against the backdrop of breathtaking mountain views. The trek continues toward Deo Tibba Base Camp, reaching higher altitudes. A lunch break with panoramic vistas sets the stage for arriving at the base camp. Participants can explore the surroundings and receive a briefing on high-altitude considerations and safety measures. The evening is for relaxation and stargazing.

The final day includes breakfast, breaking camp, and descending from the base camp to Jobri. Lunch is served at Jobri before participants board their vehicles for the return journey to Manali. Participants looking to return will be dropped off at Manali town for their evening bus. Those who remain, upon checking into the hotel, there is time to freshen up and relax. The trek concludes with a celebration dinner at a local restaurant, and participants will spend the night at the hotel. Guests will be dropped at Manali Mall Road the next day for their evening bus to their next journey.
